Climate of Pelling is pleasant for most of the year.  Henceforth, the best time to visit Pelling is in between March to May. Although, you can visit that place at post monsoon.  In that case,  time preferred by tourists from September to November to visit at Pelling.

The most preferable way to reach Pelling is to hire a private car or book a private taxi from the New Jalpaiguri railway station . Hence, it will take 5 to 6 hours to reach that place.

You may reach less crowded place situated near Rumtek.  It is at Lingdum Monastery.

10. Ravangla

Ravangla is around 65 Km far from Gangtok and requires approx 3 to 4 hours to reach there. Just book a private taxi or rental car from Gangtok.

Buddha Park is a great attraction that contains a 130ft high statue of Buddha.

Maenam wildlife sanctuary is the place that you can visit to enjoy nature.

The Temi tea garden is the only Tea testing centre where you can taste the most flavorful tea in Sikkim.
